Criminal

We have a strong Criminal Practice Team whose successes in both defence and prosecution work have gained them a well earned reputation for expertise across all aspects of criminal law. Our practice covers the full range of casework from shoplifting to major criminal trials involving serious fraud and homicide. We represent clients throughout the UK. Our members work at all levels of the legal system including the divisional and the higher appellate courts.

In defence we are resolute in guarding against injustice, protecting the rights of the individual and enforcing human rights. We are stalwart in these objectives. In prosecution we are committed to fair but firm presentation of the case for the Crown. We have depth and breadth of experience and provide regular representation at each stage of every type of case in all courts. We have a strong reputation in this area of legal work and three of our counsel, Mary Jacobson, Tom Dunn & Lynette Calder have been elected to the Attorney General’s list. We prosecute on behalf of the CPS and many specialist agencies including, H.M. Customs & Excise, the Department of Health and the Department of Work and Pensions. All members of the team belong to the Criminal Bar Association and regularly attend its seminars to ensure their ongoing professional development.
